Effective 20 August 2026

Acceptable Use Policy

This policy forms part of the terms. The five prohibitions in the first section are specific to this product and are enforced in code as well as stated here.

The five that are specific to Salonfeed

These five come first because they are the reason this product is built the way it is. They apply to everything you upload, produce, compose or export, and to the finished material wherever you publish it.

  1. You must not upload images containing faces or bodies. Not your clients’, not your team’s, not your own. This includes faces, partial faces, bodies, hands, arms, skin, silhouettes and reflections of people. Photographs are screened in your browser before upload and refused when a person is detected; attempting to defeat that screen is itself a breach of this policy.
  2. You must not generate or overlay any treatment name, indication or outcome claim. That covers naming a treatment or procedure, describing what one is for, describing what it achieves, describing recovery or downtime, describing suitability, or making any statement about a result on a person’s body or skin.
  3. You must not include any prescription medicine name. Advertising a prescription-only medicine to the public is prohibited in the United Kingdom under the Human Medicines Regulations 2012 and in most other jurisdictions. This covers brand names, generic names, common abbreviations, deliberate misspellings and any other way of naming such a product, in your brief, in a caption, in composed text and in a filename.
  4. You must not produce before-and-after content. That includes paired images, split-frame comparisons, sliders, sequences presented as progress, and any layout whose purpose is to show a change in a person’s appearance.
  5. You must not use anything produced here to make a medical, health or therapeutic claim. Material made with Salonfeed may not be used to describe, promote or explain a treatment, to suggest a health benefit, or to imply that any product or service shown has a therapeutic effect.

Unlawful use

You must not use Salonfeed for anything unlawful in your country or in ours, or to plan, promote or carry out anything unlawful. You must not use it in breach of sanctions or export controls that apply to you.

Children

You must not use Salonfeed to produce, upload or distribute any material involving a child. Since the product does not accept or generate images of people at all, this should never arise; if it does, we will report it to the appropriate authorities and end the account immediately and permanently.

Other people and their likeness

You must not use Salonfeed to depict any real person, whether or not they have agreed. You must not attempt to produce a synthetic likeness of anyone, and you must not use it as part of any process that produces one. You must not upload material that identifies a person, including images, and you must not attempt to work around the screening that prevents this.

Hate and harm

You must not use Salonfeed to produce material that attacks, degrades or harasses anyone on the basis of race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, disability, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, age or any other characteristic. You must not use it to threaten, intimidate, stalk or bully.

You must not use it to produce sexual material of any kind, or material intended to shock or disturb.

Deception and fraud

You must not use Salonfeed to mislead. That includes presenting generated imagery as a photograph of a specific real place, product or result; advertising products, prices, availability or credentials that do not exist; impersonating another business; and producing material for a scheme intended to obtain money or data dishonestly.

You must not state or imply qualifications, registrations, memberships or endorsements that you do not hold.

Regulated subjects

Beyond the five prohibitions above, you must not use Salonfeed to produce material about medicines, medical devices, medical services, financial products, credit, insurance, gambling, alcohol, tobacco or vaping products, weapons, or any other subject where advertising is separately regulated. Those subjects sit outside the six categories this product will plan for, and the planner will refuse them.

Intellectual property

You must not use Salonfeed to reproduce anyone else’s trade mark, logo, get-up or copyright work, or to produce material designed to be mistaken for another brand’s. You must not upload material you do not have the right to upload.

If you believe something produced here infringes your rights, write to support@aestheticsbystephan.com with enough detail to identify the work and the material, and we will act on it.

Misuse of the service

You must not attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the service, probe or test its security without written permission, interfere with it or with anyone else’s use of it, scrape it, resell access to it, share one account across separate businesses to avoid paying for them, or use automated means to generate volume beyond what a person could reasonably produce.

You must not attempt to defeat, disable or work around the category filter, the face and body screen, or the prescription-medicine blocklist, by any means.

How this is enforced

The first, third and fifth prohibitions above are enforced in code before they are enforced as policy: the face and body screen refuses uploads and discards generated frames, and the blocklist stops a prescription medicine name at five separate points. The second and fourth are refused by the category filter, which explains why and offers something it can make instead.

Where a breach gets past those controls we may remove material, suspend or withdraw access, or rescind the agreement. For anything other than a serious breach we will tell you what the problem is and give you a reasonable opportunity to put it right first. For a serious breach — anything involving a child, anything unlawful, or a deliberate attempt to defeat the screening — we act immediately and permanently.

Reporting

If you believe someone is using Salonfeed in breach of this policy, tell us at support@aestheticsbystephan.com. We read every report.
