Effective 20 August 2026
Refund Policy
What happens to your money when you cancel, when something goes wrong, and when you simply change your mind.
Nothing is shipped
Salonfeed is a digital service. There is nothing to post, nothing to return and no delivery to wait for. Access begins as soon as a subscription starts and everything you make is downloaded from your browser. There is therefore no shipping policy and no returns process — this page covers the whole of it.
Cancelling a subscription
You can cancel at any time, in one click, from the billing page inside your account. No message, no phone call, no series of screens asking you to reconsider.
Cancelling stops the next payment. It does not cut you off immediately: your plan stays fully usable until the end of the period you have already paid for, and only then does it stop. Everything you have already exported stays yours whatever happens to the account.
Refunds of the current period
We do not refund part of a period you have already paid for. If you cancel a monthly plan on the twentieth day, you keep the remaining ten days and are not charged again; the twenty days already used are not refunded on a proportional basis.
Three situations are exceptions, and in each of them we refund the unused part:
- We materially reduce what a paid plan provides and you cancel before the change takes effect.
- We change these terms in a way that materially affects your rights and you cancel before the change takes effect.
- We end your access for a reason that is not your fault.
The first fourteen days
Salonfeed is a digital service that starts immediately, and a statutory right to change your mind can be lost once a service you asked for has begun. We do not rely on that.
If you subscribe for the first time and it is not what you wanted, write to us within 14 days and we will refund that first payment in full, provided you have not used a large part of the allowance. In practice that means: if you have made a couple of pieces and decided it is not for you, you get your money back. If you have produced a full month of material and then asked, we will discuss it, but the answer is likely to be no.
This applies to a first subscription, not to every renewal.
Credits
Credits are an allowance for using the service. They are not money, not stored value and not a balance, and they cannot be cashed out, redeemed, sold or transferred. They therefore cannot be refunded, individually or in bulk.
There are no credit packs to buy and no wallet to top up, so there is no separate purchase that could be reversed. The allowance resets at the start of every period and unused credits do not carry over. Nothing is lost when you cancel that had a cash value in the first place.
When output is unusable
Sometimes a piece comes back wrong: the wrong subject, a broken frame, a clip that will not play. When that happens the fix is credits, not money — we put the credits back so you can make the piece again, and we do it without argument.
Tell us at support@aestheticsbystephan.com with the week and the piece. We normally re-credit the same working day.
If it keeps happening — if the service is not delivering what you are paying for over a sustained period — then it is a money problem rather than a credit problem, and we will refund the affected period.
What we cannot do is refund because a generated image is not to your taste. Generated imagery is a matter of judgement and the free plan exists so you can form one before paying.
Duplicate and unrecognised charges
If you have been charged twice for the same period, tell us and we will refund the duplicate in full, immediately, without asking you to prove anything.
If a charge on your statement is unfamiliar, please write to us before raising it with your bank. We can usually identify it within a few hours, and if it is wrong we will refund it faster than a formal dispute would. Raising a dispute is always your right; contacting us first is simply quicker.
How to ask
Email support@aestheticsbystephan.com from the address on the account, or call +44 7715070877. Tell us what happened and roughly when. You do not need an order number, a form or a particular form of words.
How long it takes
We reply within one working day. Approved refunds are issued within five working days and go back to the card or account that paid, because that is the only route available to us. Your bank then takes its own time, usually three to ten working days.
If you are not satisfied
Say so and we will look at it again — a different person, properly, not the same answer repeated.
If you live in Scotland, free advice is available from consumeradvice.scot, funded by the Scottish Government. This service is available to Scottish residents only. Consumer Scotland is the statutory consumer body, and Trading Standards Scotland handles enforcement.
If you live outside Scotland, you can contact the consumer advice body in your own country. Wherever you live, the mandatory consumer-protection rules of your country of residence continue to apply to you.
Your statutory rights
Nothing here affects your statutory rights. Digital services must be of satisfactory quality, fit for any purpose you told us about, and as described; if they are not, you may be entitled to a repair, a price reduction or a refund regardless of what this page says.
Your statutory rights are not limited to a fixed number of years. Separately, under the Prescription and Limitation (Scotland) Act 1973, a claim in the Scottish courts must generally be raised within five years. In England and Wales the equivalent period is six years. That is a limit on raising a court action, not a warranty period and not a point after which we stop being responsible.
If you are resident in Scotland and your claim is for £5,000 or less, you may be able to use Simple Procedure in the Sheriff Court. This is designed to be used without a solicitor.
