Effective 20 August 2026
Content Licence
Who owns what, what we are allowed to do with it, and for how long.
You keep your inputs
Everything you put into Salonfeed stays yours: the briefs you type, the text you compose over a piece, and any photographs of your own premises, tools, stock or materials that you add as a reference. Uploading something does not transfer any ownership of it to us and never will.
The licence you give us
To do the thing you are asking for, we need permission to handle your material. You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to store, copy, transmit, reformat and process the material you provide, for one purpose only: providing the Salonfeed service to you.
That licence:
- covers nothing beyond running the service for you;
- does not permit us to publish your material, display it publicly, put it in marketing or show it to another user;
- does not permit us to sell, rent or license it to anyone;
- does not permit us to use it to train, fine-tune or evaluate any model;
- ends when the material is deleted.
Where a service provider is involved in producing what you asked for, it acts on our instructions under a written contract with the same restrictions, and for no purpose of its own.
Never for training
Nothing you upload or create is used to train, fine-tune, refine or evaluate any machine learning model. Not ours, not a provider’s, not anyone’s. This is a term of this licence rather than a setting in a menu, so it is not something that can be changed quietly by a default flipping the other way.
Thirty days
Reference photographs you upload are kept for up to 30 days so a week can be reopened and reworked, then deleted automatically. Material you have generated is kept while your account exists so you can come back to it.
You can delete anything sooner. Deletion is immediate in the interface and completes in backups within 30 days.
What you promise us
By uploading material you confirm, for each item, that:
- you own it or have the right to use it in this way;
- it contains no identifiable person — no faces, no bodies, no hands, no skin and no reflections of people;
- it does not infringe anyone’s copyright, trade mark or other rights;
- it does not contain personal data belonging to anyone other than you;
- uploading it does not break the law where you are.
The screening in your browser exists to help you keep the second of these, but the promise is still yours to keep. Working around it is a breach of this licence and of the acceptable use policy.
You get your outputs
As between you and us, the images, clips and composed text you produce with Salonfeed are yours. You may use them commercially — organic posts, paid advertising, print, in-store, on any platform — without paying us anything further and without crediting us. We make no claim to them and will not assert one.
This remains true for anything you exported before you cancelled, permanently.
What we do not promise about outputs
We cannot promise the material is unique. Another user asking for something similar may receive something similar, and you should not present anything made here as an exclusive asset.
We cannot promise that every country will treat you as the copyright owner of machine-generated material, because countries differ on that question. What we can say is that we are not the obstacle.
We cannot promise the material is free of resemblance to third-party works, so do not use it in a way that leans on someone else’s brand.
Aggregate signals
We look at counts — how often a category is picked, how often a piece is regenerated before it is kept, how often a filter fires. These are aggregate numbers with no content attached and nothing that identifies you or your business, and they are used to decide what to improve. They are not your material and are not covered by the licence above.
Removing material
We may remove material that breaches the acceptable use policy or the law, or that is the subject of a valid rights complaint. Where we can, we will tell you first and explain why. Complaints about infringement go to support@aestheticsbystephan.com.
If you close your account
Closing your account starts deletion of your material within 30 days, except records we are legally required to keep. The licence you granted us ends at the same time. Export anything you want to keep before you close it — we cannot restore it afterwards.
Our own material
The Salonfeed name, the site, its design, its text and its imagery belong to AESTHETICS BY STEPHANIE LTD. Nothing in this licence gives you the right to use them beyond using the service in the normal way.
