Effective 20 August 2026

Terms of Service

The agreement between you and us. Written to be read rather than skipped, and short enough that reading it is realistic.

Agreement

These terms are an agreement between you and AESTHETICS BY STEPHANIE LTD, Unit 1 Bloom Farm, Main Street, Livingston Village, Livingston, Scotland, EH54 7AF, which operates Salonfeed at aestheticsbystephan.com. By creating an account or using the service you accept them. If you do not accept them, do not use the service. They took effect on 20 August 2026.

Who may use Salonfeed

You must be at least 18 years old. Salonfeed is a tool for running a business, it is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly provide it to anyone under 18. If you are using it for a business, you confirm that you are authorised to accept these terms for that business.

Your account

Give us an email address that reaches you and keep it current — it is how we tell you about renewals, changes and problems. Keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for what happens under your account, so tell us promptly if you think someone else has access to it.

What Salonfeed does

Salonfeed plans a week of social media material for a beauty business and produces still images and short silent clips to fill it, drawn from six subjects: your space, your tools, your colours and materials, your opening information, your hygiene and cleaning routines, and the atmosphere of the place. It also lets you compose text over that material in your browser and export the result.

Salonfeed does not provide medical or health information, does not recommend treatments, products or practitioners, and is not affiliated with any clinic or practitioner. That statement is set out in full on What Salonfeed is not and forms part of these terms.

What you may not do with it

The full list is in the acceptable use policy, which forms part of these terms. In summary, you may not use Salonfeed to break the law, to produce content showing or describing people without a right to do so, to make claims about treatments or health outcomes, to name a prescription medicine in public-facing material, to produce before-and-after content, to infringe anyone’s intellectual property, or to interfere with the service or with other people’s use of it.

Subscriptions and prices

There are three plans: Free at no cost, Week at USD $22 per month or USD $211 per year, and Chair at USD $64 per month or USD $614 per year. All prices are in United States dollars and are shown in full before you agree to anything. Where tax applies, it is shown separately at the point of payment.

Payment is taken by our payment provider. We do not receive or store your card details. If we change the price of a plan, we will email you at least 30 days before the change takes effect for your subscription, and you may cancel before then if you do not want to continue at the new price.

There is no free trial. The Free plan is a standing free plan; it does not convert into a paid plan and you will never be charged for it.

Automatic renewal

Paid plans renew automatically. A monthly plan renews every month and a yearly plan renews every year, at the same price, on the same day, until you cancel. You agree to this expressly at the point of payment, where the amount, the currency, the period, the renewal date and this sentence are shown together on one screen.

We email you a receipt for every payment. For yearly plans we also email you a reminder before the renewal date, telling you what will be charged, when, and how to cancel.

Cancelling

You can cancel at any time, in one click, from the billing page in your account. There is nothing to send, no one to call, and no process designed to slow you down.

When you cancel, your plan stays fully usable until the end of the period you have already paid for, and then stops. Nothing is charged after that. Anything you have already exported remains yours.

Credits

Each plan comes with a monthly allowance of credits, which is spent when you plan a week, read a photograph you have added, produce or adjust a piece, or turn a locked piece into a clip. The cost of each action is shown before it is spent and recorded on your billing page afterwards.

Credits are an allowance for using the service. They are not money, not stored value, not a balance, not a payment instrument and not a security. They cannot be exchanged for cash, redeemed, refunded, sold, given away or transferred to another person or account, and they have no value outside Salonfeed.

The allowance resets at the start of each period and unused credits do not carry over. There are no credit packs and no way to buy additional credits: if a period runs short, the only option is a larger plan, which you can leave again at the end of that period.

Refunds

Refunds are dealt with in the refund policy, which forms part of these terms.

Content you put in

You keep ownership of everything you put in — briefs, text, and any photographs of your own premises, tools or materials. You give us a limited, worldwide, royalty-free licence to store and process that material for as long as is needed to produce what you asked for and to provide the service to you. That licence covers nothing else. In particular it does not permit us to use your material to train, fine-tune or evaluate any model, and it ends when the material is deleted.

You confirm that you have the right to give us the material you upload, and that it does not contain any identifiable person. The full detail is in the content licence.

Content that comes out

As between you and us, the images, clips and text you produce with Salonfeed are yours. You can use them commercially, including in paid advertising, on any platform, without paying us anything further and without crediting us.

Two honest caveats. Generated imagery may resemble imagery produced for someone else asking for something similar, and we cannot promise exclusivity. And copyright in purely machine-generated output is treated differently in different countries, so we cannot promise that every jurisdiction will recognise you as its owner. What we can promise is that we make no claim to it and will not assert one.

Availability and changes

We aim to keep Salonfeed available and working, but we do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may change features, and we may add or adjust limits. Where a change materially reduces what you get on a paid plan, we will tell you at least 30 days beforehand and you may cancel and receive a proportionate refund of the unused part of the period you have paid for.

Ending this agreement

You may rescind this agreement at any time by cancelling your subscription and closing your account.

We may suspend or withdraw your access, or rescind this agreement, if you materially break these terms or the acceptable use policy, if your use puts other users or the service at risk, or if we are required to do so by law. Except where the breach is serious or where the law requires immediate action, we will tell you what the problem is and give you a reasonable chance to put it right first. If we rescind this agreement for a reason that is not your fault, we will refund the unused part of the period you have paid for.

AI outputs

Salonfeed produces its material using machine learning models. Output is generated, not photographed, and is not a record of your premises. Anything that has to be factually correct — opening hours, prices, dates, booking details — is typed by you in the browser and composed over the image rather than drawn by a model, precisely so that you can check it. The full position is set out in the AI disclaimer, which forms part of these terms and which you should read.

Our liability

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded.

Subject to that, we are not liable for loss of profit, loss of business, loss of goodwill, loss of anticipated savings, or for any indirect or consequential loss. Our total liability to you for all claims arising in any twelve-month period is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in that period and USD $100.

We are liable for loss you suffer that is a foreseeable result of us breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care and skill. Loss is foreseeable if it is obvious that it will happen, or if we both knew it might happen when you started using the service.

Your statutory rights

If you are a consumer, you have statutory rights that these terms do not affect. Digital content and digital services must be of satisfactory quality, fit for any purpose made known to us, and as described. If they are not, you may be entitled to a repair, a replacement, a price reduction or a refund. Nothing in this agreement takes those rights away.

Salonfeed is supplied digitally and is available immediately once you subscribe. Where a statutory right to change your mind applies to a digital service and you ask for the service to start straight away, that right may be lost once performance has begun; we set out how we handle this in practice, more generously than the minimum, in the refund policy.

Time limits for court action

Your statutory rights are not limited to a fixed number of years. Separately, under the Prescription and Limitation (Scotland) Act 1973, a claim in the Scottish courts must generally be raised within five years. In England and Wales the equivalent period is six years.

This is a limit on how long you have to raise a court action. It is not a guarantee, not a warranty period, and not a point after which we stop being responsible for anything.

Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them (including non-contractual disputes or claims) are governed by and construed in accordance with the law of Scotland.

The Scottish courts have non-exclusive jurisdiction. Nothing in this clause affects your right, as a consumer, to bring proceedings in the courts of the country where you are resident, or to rely on mandatory consumer-protection rules of that country.

If you are resident in Scotland and your claim is for £5,000 or less, you may be able to use Simple Procedure in the Sheriff Court. This is designed to be used without a solicitor.

Consumer help

Please contact us first — support@aestheticsbystephan.com. Most things are settled that way, quickly.

If you live in Scotland, free advice is available from consumeradvice.scot, funded by the Scottish Government. This service is available to Scottish residents only. Consumer Scotland is the statutory consumer body, and Trading Standards Scotland handles enforcement.

If you live outside Scotland, you can contact the consumer advice body in your own country. Wherever you live, the mandatory consumer-protection rules of your country of residence continue to apply to you.

General

These terms, together with the acceptable use policy, the refund policy, the AI disclaimer, the content licence, the privacy policy, the cookie policy and the statement of what Salonfeed is not, are the whole agreement between us about the service.

If any part of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest continues to apply. If we do not insist that you do something you are required to do, or delay in doing so, that does not prevent us insisting later. You may not transfer your rights under this agreement to anyone else without our written agreement. We may transfer ours to a company that takes over the service, and we will tell you if we do; if that leaves you worse off you may cancel and we will refund the unused part of the period you have paid for.

We may update these terms. For any change that materially affects your rights we will email you at least 14 days before it takes effect, and continuing to use the service after that means you accept the new version. If you do not, cancel before the change takes effect and we will refund the unused part of the period you have paid for.
